Car parade celebrates woman’s 100th birthday in southwest Detroit

The city of Detroit got involved to help make Doris Barnes’ birthday special on Thursday.

The mother of five celebrated her 100th birthday. A car parade included family, the Detroit Police Department and Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
