Amber alert issued following kidnapping of 2 Madison Heights children

An Amber Alert has been issued after 18-year-old Lemonte Dujuan Bronner allegedly kidnapped a 4-month-old and 1-year-old at gun point.

The Michigan State Police has issued an Amber Alert for 4-month-old, Ah Meya Mimms and 1-year-old Ahmaree Mimms.

Ah Meya was last seen wearing a blue polka dot onesie with a white fur snow suit and Ahmaree was last seen wearing a peach jacket with a black and white shirt, black pants and black boots with fur.

Police say the missing children are with LeMonte Dujaun Bronner and a 15-year-old black female. They’re traveling in a black sedan, unknown make and model with Ohio or possibly Michigan plates.

Police said Bronner fled from East Hudson Avenue and may be heading to Detroit or Toledo, Ohio. Officers said he is armed with a 45-caliber handgun.

Police said Bronner allegedly assaulted the father of the children and is believed to be related to the family.
